Members of APM’s Women in Project Management SIG have spoken to Thales leading Learning and Develop to discuss why promoting women in project is so important, what they are doing to help drive the success of women in the field, and what the wider industry needs to do to help.

Published in Thales’ Enhance magazine, the committee go on to outline what the challenges are that women in the industry face and reveal the changes females have seen in their industry.

The interview comes ahead of the highly anticipated APM National Conference for Women in Project Management 2016 which is set to take place on the 29th September 2016 at the Park Plaza Victoria London.  

Recently announced speakers include Emma Smythe head of learning at BAE Systems, who has experience working in major corporations including Quaker Oats, Tropicana, BP and BAE Systems and James Thomas, consultant, coach and public speaker on the subject of commercial negotiation.
