We were very disappointed not to be able to run our one-day conference in London on 23 March as we just did not have enough delegates to make it viable.
Due to the short notice General Election and the uncertainty of the direction of BREXIT, the branch has taken the decision to postpone the planned events throughout 2017 until a clearer direction is forthcoming.
The APM National Conference for Women in Project Management sponsored by BAE Systems has returned for 2017.
The APM Midlands branch committee nomination survey has now closed and no further additions can be made.
This year’s APM Thames Valley branch PM Challenge saw a record 11 teams compete – with winners in three separate categories announced at a well-attended Finals Night.
The APM Benefits Management SIG and Contract and Procurement SIG held a joint webinar on Thursday 4 May.
The survey for those the branch committee for 2017/18 has now closed and the following have nominated themselves for the branch committee.
The evening commenced on 25th April 2017 in Glasgow with the current chair of the APM Scotland branch, Roger Walker giving an overview of the events delivered and achievements of the Scotland branch in 2016/17 before covering the objectives and aims of the branch for 2017/18.
Ahead of the APM Thames Valley branch Project Management Challenge finals on 26 April, the winners of last year’s competition have shared their experience with APM - how winning influenced their careers and what finalists can expect on the night.
On the evening of the 27th April at BAWA in Bristol, around 50 excited sponsors, customers, mentors and team members attended a very impressive Project Management Challenge Finals Night with four down-selected teams competing for the winner’s trophy.
